Singapore-based offshore vessel (OSV) owner Britoil Offshore Services has completed a significant acquisition by adding to its fleet 30 offshore vessels from the Dutch shipowner, Vroon.

Along with this acquisition the Genova and Singapore supporting offices will be also transferred under Britoil´s perimeter. This strategic move not only garnered the backing and active participation of the Pérez y Cía. Group but also propelled Britoil into the ranks of the top ten players in its sector. This acquisition marks a significant milestone in its international expansion and service diversification efforts, in line with the long-term strategy of the Pérez y Cía. Group.

Pérez y Cía. Group., will maintain the same ownership in Britoil after the acquisition, and Gonzalo Pérez-Maura, current Vice President of Pérez y Cía. Group, will continue to held his position in Britoil’s board. As he mentioned  “Pérez y Cía. is thrilled to continue supporting Britoil in their expansion plans. Britoil Fleet after the acquisition will become one of the youngest fleets with an average of 11 years. As Florent Kirchoff, Britoil CEO, said “It has been an exciting period for Britoil. After setting up our Dubai office and acquiring seven offshore vessels last year, this acquisition provides a robust platform for growth as a combined company”.
