For us, it is an honor to have kicked off this year with a significant contribution to the Pablo Horstmann Foundation to support their “Let Children Have Home” project in Meki, Ethiopia. At Pérez y Cía. Group, we understand the transformative power of collaboration in society, which is why we are proud to announce our partnership with the Pablo Horstmann Foundation on this crucial project.
At Pérez y Cía. Group, we highly value the opportunity to enhance social welfare through our donations to non-profit organizations. Since 2011, the Horstmann Foundation has been operating the “Let Children Have Home” shelter, providing a safe haven for vulnerable boys and girls. This shelter not only offers them refuge but also access to education, healthcare, and a family-like environment, all essential elements for their development and growth.
What motivates us to support this project?
Commitment to education and welfare: At the shelter, children receive personalized care, especially those facing difficulties or chronic illnesses. Furthermore, young individuals are encouraged to pursue vocational or university education, knowing they have constant support.
Lasting impact: Over the years, numerous young people have completed their secondary and university studies, returning during holidays to reconnect with their “family” at the shelter.
Innovation and adaptation: Faced with new Ethiopian regulations promoting local adoption and family reunification, the Foundation is transforming the shelter into a Temporary Foster Home. This change ensures that more children can find permanent homes and continue receiving the love and care they need during their transition.
Our commitment to the Pablo Horstmann Foundation reflects our values of social responsibility and the desire to contribute to a better future for all.
