Transformative Impact of the Pablo Horstmann Foundation in Meki, Ethiopia

At Pérez y Cía. Group, we take pride in highlighting the achievements made through our ongoing support of the Pablo Horstmann Foundation (FPH) and its valuable work in Meki, Ethiopia. Since the beginning of the year, we have actively supported the “Let Children Have Home” program, which has provided a safe haven and a nurturing environment for the development of 41 orphans, including 19 boys and 22 girls. All of them are enrolled in various educational institutions in the area, ensuring their access to quality education.

Highlighted Cases:

Bezawit, who graduated in Nursing from Harambe University in July, and Radia, who completed her degree in Business Administration at Wolkite University, are demonstrating how continuous support can change lives. Radia will also begin her double degree in Marketing next year. Tariku and Halima, siblings who have completed their pre-university semester, are ready to start their higher education based on their results.

Additionally, the “Let Children Have Care” program has provided care for 30 children aged between 12 months and 4 years, supporting their working mothers in vulnerable situations. This program has offered quality services, including flexible hours, proper nutrition, and educational stimulation.

Our contribution has fully covered the expenses for 5 orphans and partially for one more, ensuring that these children have access to essential resources.

The Pablo Horstmann Foundation, under the leadership of the Catholic Church Vicariate of Meki, has ensured the continuity of these vital projects. Despite the challenges in the region, the commitment to the beneficiaries and the community remains strong.

At Pérez y Cía. Group, we reaffirm our commitment to social responsibility and improving the welfare of the most disadvantaged communities. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with the Pablo Horstmann Foundation and supporting its essential work in Meki.
