Pérez y Cía. Group acquired Barcelona Container Depot Service, S.L. (BCDS) at the end of 2023, consolidating its presence in the Port of Barcelona.

BCDS, a well-established company in container management in the Port of Barcelona and its surrounding area, has evolved over more than three decades through mergers and acquisitions. The company has grown thanks to its dedicated team and its focus on the management of reefer containers, dry containers and ISO tanks, building up more than 30 years of experience in the sector.

The merged company offers a wide range of services including container storage and repair, as well as ISO tank cleaning.

With more than 200 employees, a 155,000 m² concession in the Port of Barcelona and an annual throughput of 435,000 TEUs, the Group has consolidated itself as a key player in the port market. In addition, it operates five ISO tank washing stations in strategic locations: Tarragona, Martorell, Seseña, Mérida and Murcia.
